About Confero
Confero is Televic Conference's latest software solution for basic configuration and management of your meeting. Different functions become available when acquiring specific licenses.
Confero and Plixus
Confero replaces the Plixus web server, making the use of the Plixus system much simpler. No need for a dedicated computer, you can configure the conference settings on any computer.

Confero has a very simple system setup. There is no need for a dedicated computer, you can configure the conference settings on any computer.
Confero and User roles
Confero makes use of user roles to make only specific settings and functions available for specific users. The following user roles are available in Confero:
- Technician: has access to all technical settings such as all the devices in the system, diagnostics to monitor the status of the devices, as well as the layout of the room and role management. For an extended description of the settings available for the technician, see Technician
- Operator: can manage all the settings related to controlling the meeting. An operator can manage the meeting (start/pause), configure the language channels, and set the audio and conference settings. For a detailed description of this role, see Chairperson/Operator.
- Chairperson: is the person that typically leads the meeting. In Confero, he or she has the same options as an operator. Therefore, they can control the meeting, start a voting session, configure thelanguage channels, and the configure audio and conference settings. There is also an option to see the meeting reports. - Signage: use this role to activate the signage. The signage role displays meeting-related information such as the speaker and request list, as well as the room layout, and ongoing voting sessions.
